Ilya “Illidan” Pivtsaev believes that despite the skepticism of some fans, Anton “dyrachyo” Shkredov was courageous to end his career at the peak of his career because the game was no longer fun for him.
The
Team Spirit streamer made a relevant statement on Twitch.
“Actually, I've been thinking about it. I've been talking to my friends, and they say it's a decision he'll regret in 10 years. What do I think? I think you have to have enough courage and be honest with yourself to walk away when you've conquered almost the whole stage or the whole stage, but you realize you don't enjoy it.”
According to Ilya “Illidan” Pivtsaev, he has some respect for Anton “dyrachyo” Shkredov's decision, but he is not ready to assess whether it is the right one. However, he's not sure that in 10 years the player will regret his decision.
“So I have a certain respect for it. I can't say it's a mistake or not. I'm not sure that 10 years from now he's going to be like, 'Yeah, I did wrong, I should have played.' No, it's up to him.”
Streamer respects Anton “dyrachyo” Shkredov's decision, as he believes that few people are willing to give up big earnings if they stop enjoying the game.
As a reminder, Anton “dyrachyo” Shkredov has earned over $1.46 million during his career on the Dota 2 pro scene.
