Denis "sikle" Lerman, an analyst for
Team Spirit, stated that with the 7.35c patch for Dota 2, a hero that was frequently picked six months ago will become popular again. Additionally,
Revenants Brooch has now become a genuinely useful item.
He published a post analyzing the latest update on his Telegram channel.
"In the mid lane, a hero that was popular six months ago will return, although Mage Slayer against it was not killed but reasonably nerfed. Also, Brooch finally looks like a cool item, not trash that depletes all your mana in a second"
He also noted the changes to the
Dagon item, as well as adjustments to mechanics that haven't seen changes in a long time, which will significantly impact gameplay.
"Dagon is also very pleasant. Two mechanics that haven't been touched for a long time have been significantly, very significantly buffed, and this will radically affect the hero picks that used to buy such items"
However, he pointed out that many strong builds remain untouched, so there are still effective builds that will work well in the 7.35c patch.
"Vladmir wasn't nerfed; it's still strong and can be built on the same heroes, including Chen. Liked that they increased the damage of kobolds by +3 (finally the pull won't be full), and how they nerfed the broken neutrals. Although they completely forgot about one of them from tier-2"
Recall that Valve released a new 7.35c patch for Dota 2, adjusting hero stats, item metrics, and modifying properties of one of the rarest items from the Dragon's Gift update.
