Team Spirit revealed the secret behind their victory at The International

Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, the manager of Team Spirit, openly commented that he did everything possible to win The International 2023 as revenge towards the people who was responsible for his expulsion from Team Empire.

He made such comments on a Twitch stream.

“Do you know why Team Spirit won TI? Because I was kicked from Team Empire, then I promised myself, when I returned I would arrange everything for them, especially for those who made me leave. That’s all”

He was honest that he considers the energy that stems from hatred as one of the most motivating and effective, and directed it towards the development of the team. The manager put in the greatest amount of energy and effort to achieve success and prove to those who did not believe him and indeed dismissed him from Team Empire. Notably, though he did not refer to anyone in particular, it is worth noting that he was a Team Empire manager for four years, so it is not unreasonable to assume that he is talking about the leadership of the organization.
