Team Spirit revealed the real reason for refusing to play at DreamLeague Season 26

To get ready for Riyadh Masters 2025, Team Spirit has decided to skip the DreamLeague Season 26 which is one of the biggest Dota 2 tournaments out there.

This information was made public by the Telegram Channel of Team Spirit where Nikita “Cheshir” Chukalin, CEO of Team Spirit, explained it in response to fan queries.

“Taking part in DreamLeague permits us to remain worry-free concerning EPT points, which is why we decided to take a break and train for Riyadh”

As he pointed out, the DreamLeague Season 25 was a great success which meant that the team did not have to stress about the EPT points that are essential for a direct Riyadh Masters 2025 invite. This is the reason why the team decided it was best to take a break and prepare for other competitions.
