The Team Spirit manager pointed out the main nuance of patch 7.40

Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov stated that he is pleased with the new hero Largo in patch 7.40 and the changes in the Dota 2 meta, but believes that there are almost no real changes in the update.

The Team Spirit manager shared this during a Twitch stream.

“The hero is cool. I liked it mostly because of the cool design. But in fact only a couple of heroes were really changed. The meta will still change, let’s be honest. The hero meta will change 100%. In esports definitely more than two heroes will change. But otherwise… There are really no specific changes. I wanted the patch to be a bit bigger. It’s fine, but there’s nothing special in it”

Korb3n noted that he likes the design and concept of Largo, whom he considers an interesting hero. The manager is also happy that the meta will finally change and several heroes were reworked, but he thinks this is not enough.

According to him, patch 7.40 is really good, but it turned out not as big as expected from a major update, because there are basically no global changes in it.
