Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov, the manager of Team Spirit, stated that the major 7.36 patch has hardly changed Dota 2. According to him, the only real change is the appearance of new heroes in the mid lane.

He shared this in his Telegram channel.

"I disagree with influencers who write in their posts about the patch and its impact on teams, whether they have found strategies, heroes, or if the team has adapted to it, etc. Yes, the patch introduced new heroes, but these are the same heroes that these teams were playing nine months ago"

He noted that although the patch was substantial, it had little impact on the teams' playstyles. Moreover, he mentioned that many teams have reverted to their previous picks from last year. Nevertheless, Korb3n acknowledged that there is one real change – new heroes in the mid lane.

"Haven't you ever seen Ace on Underlord? Miero will be rocking on Beast, and XinQ will be hiding nuts in the enemy's hollow on Hoodwink. The only lane where truly new heroes have appeared is the mid lane"

It should be noted that the Team Spirit manager previously shared insights about the roster shuffles in Shopify Rebellion.
