Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov, the manager of Team Spirit, stated that Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk wanted some variety, which is why he decided to change his nickname.

Additionally, Korb3n noted that the Team Spirit carry didn’t change his nickname permanently. According to him, it’s quite possible that Raddan (Yatoro) might revert to his old nickname after some time. This might happen after Riyadh Masters and The International 2024.
