Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, who works as a manager for Team Spirit, said something that was rather interesting: Miroslav “Mira” Kolpakov could have been signed up for BetBoom Streamers Battle 9, but Mira never intended to participate and only agreed to play a single match.

He said this during a Twitch stream.

“Why bother strengthening the roster when I had the option of registering him in the first place? It's not that he doesn’t want to partake of streamer battles, but I could have signed him, or Collapse, or any other instead— the rules allow it. No, Mira won’t stay, he’s only here for one match. Like I've said multiple times, this was an unfortunate sub I had to make. Much love to Mira for being so understanding”

Korb3n also stated that Mira does not like these kinds of show tournaments and is not willing to play in them, but he was able to convince him to do it. He also informed that the two time Dota 2 world champion was only a sub for one game and has received multiple thanks from him already for doing so.

Earlier, Korb3n said directly he had to convince Mira to participate in the tournament.
