Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov believes that rumors about 322 among Tier 1 players in Dota 2 are a myth, and the case with Tommy “Taiga” Lee is an exception that proves the rule.
The
Team Spirit manager made this statement on Twitch.
“I could tell you that it's a myth. Simply for economic reasons. You'll say to me, ‘How can that be? There was Taiga.’ I have no answer to that, except that it's an exception that proves the rule.”
According to Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, it is not profitable for professional players to participate in match-fixing, risking their reputation, due to the high salaries in Tier 1 teams. The
Team Spirit manager believes that the level of income and quality of life of pro-scene players gives them no reason to engage in such activities.
“There is no 322 on the Tier 1 scene. It's just not profitable. The salaries on Tier 1 are too good, and life in general is good. There is a feeling that there is no point in engaging in such dirty things.”
Earlier, Alexander “Nix” Levin explained why he believes that
OG players knew about Tommy “Taiga” Lee's involvement in 322 schemes.
