Team Spirit is facing issues due to missing ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023

Team Spirit may not receive a direct invitation to DreamLeague S22 due to a low number of points in the new EPT ranking.

Commentator Vladimir "Maelstorm" Kuzminov made such a statement on his Telegram.

"Team Spirit has controversial chances of receiving an invitation to DreamLeague S22 (the next EPT tournament) because they have exactly the same number of points as will be awarded for 4th place, and I didn't find in the rulebook what they would do in this case. I think they will look at some additional indicators"

The issue is that only the top four teams will receive invitations, and after the conclusion of ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, Team Spirit with Yatoro is expected to be in 4th place in the ranking.

As a reminder, ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, the first major tournament after The International 2023, is set to begin on December 11. Twelve teams will compete for a prize pool of 1 million dollars and a significant number of EPT points.
