Miroslav "Mira" Kolpakov of
Team Spirit has acknowledged that in their match against
Tundra Esports, his team performed poorly and made crucial mistakes, resulting in their defeat in the opening game. Against
Xtreme Gaming, however, he termed it as a case of bad luck.
The pro player shared these thoughts on the official Telegram channel of their team in video format.
“We did not catch up with the first game about tundra at all and there was another **** that appeared near me where we played very badly overall. They punished us for that little **** when they tried to catch them upstairs. Then we stopped moving around the map and lost logically. And about Xtreme – here most likely luck was not on our side during the first meeting. All right”
According to Mira, during the first game with
Tundra Esports, they did not play well enough. Meanwhile, their rivals capitalized on errors made during engagements hence making it 1:1 in this series.

Alternatively, however, Mira noted that
Team Spirit is trying out new heroes so far things aren’t really bad.
Captain of
Team Spirit mentioned earlier that before the tournament there were certain changes within the players group which had affected their performance positively.
