Team Spirit does not believe they can win ESL One Bangkok 2024

In the interview partially quoted below, Abdimalik “Malik” Sailau, offlaner for Team Spirit, claimed to be adamant that they won’t win the tournament, and therefore predicts throwing the ESL One Bangkok 2024 in the 4th position.

“I will be upbeat about if we can make it to the top four. We can be much better once we get into the play offs therefore it's just a matter of time and improving from game to game, however, I see us in the top four”

On the other hand, Malik has taken a rather harsh stance in saying that it is ambitious for Team Spirit to expect a position higher than what they deserve in the top 4. As for the rationale behind his prediction, his views on the manner in which the team had been moving since the hard fought gender finals were confusing. Or perhaps, the manner in which all the teams have been playing ever since the team has become the main consideration.

So far, the team happens to be in the mid table range of their group and still has the possibility to qualify for the Dota 2 tournament which will book a playoff spot for them.
