As Team Spirit manager Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov qualified, it is needless for concern at this point, although a loss of interest from the audience is set to be the first sign of the decline of the Dota 2 professional scene. With the mass departure of smaller clubs, an ever greater problem will arise.

He shared this during a Twitch stream:

"For now, nobody has walked away from Dota, Quite the opposite. Everything is fine, and there are sponsors. With that said, there is still hope. When large organizations start to get problems and begin to leave, all hope will cease. You'll know when it starts to happen"

It is worth emphasizing that for the time being Korb3n observes a strong interest towards Dota 2, with increasing number of organizations and sponsors joining the discipline. Nevertheless, he did provide warning signs stating that the departure of smaller clubs will be the first real causal signal of concern, explaining that it will be the smaller teams that leave first, followed by the larger organizations that will attempt to stick around a bit longer.

According to him, the moment the Dota 2 professional scene starts declining, everyone will know that something is amiss. But, at least for now, the outlook is good as more clubs are coming into the esports industry rather than leaving it.

It is worth mentioning that Team Spirit has already stated that they will discipline Denis "Larl" Sigitov for exploiting bugs in a match.
