Kamil 'Koma' Biktimirov thinks that the developers have more or less abandoned Dota 2 and are allocating their resources to a new MOBA shooter called Deadlock which the company Valve is working on.
The
Team Spirit streamer in a private Twitch broadcast also shared this relevant opinion.
“Too much concentrated on Deadlock and almost forgotten Dota.”
The International 2024 tournament is expected to kick off next week and the streamer was rather puzzled by the absence of any major provisions on the forthcoming event promotion due to their already less than usual tendency. Kamil 'Koma' Biktimirov can not comprehend why Valve has chosen to cut prize pool money and prohibit advertisement.
“Some other question about inta, that noone ever gets the holiday vibe. Yes there is such actually and its bad.
So it is quite predictable that they want to do this…more precisely, they announced last year that they do not want to create compendium like before, there is no more 40 million in the prize pool, All 40 million Mysteries have been eliminated. I mean they abolished opera on promo. That was for a few days only. I thought the same it must be a big deal for organizations too. I do not know… Anyway, super weird decisions, I will say that. So yes it is disappointing.”
As a reminder,
Team Spirit analyst Dennis “sikle” Lerman emphasized earlier the necessity for all players of the game during ranked matches to actively and timely react to cheating behaving players.
