Team Spirit streamer commented on the Team Liquid crushing defeat

Ilya “Illidan” Pivtsaev was surprised by Team Liquid's defeat to Heroic in the second group stage of DreamLeague Season 25. Streamer was surprised not only by the fact that the team lost to one of the weakest opponents, but also that the team did not take advantage of the last chance to make the playoffs.

“I'm still in shock that liquid lost to the worst team of the second groups, when heroics don't need these games at all and liquid had the last chance to get out XD it's just some shock.”

After five straight losses, the Heroic roster has lost the opportunity to make the playoffs, due to the team's remaining matches against Team Liquid and BetBoom Team will have no impact on the roster's outcome. Team Liquid with one win over Tundra Esports and four losses, in case of victory over Heroic, could still compete for the playoffs in the remaining match against Team Spirit.

As a reminder, Team Liquid received a technical defeat on the first map in their match against Team Falcons in the second stage of DreamLeague Season 25 due to Samuel “Boxi” Swann's late arrival.
