Team Spirit coach gave his medal to a fan after the tournament

Sergey “Hally” Shavaev, the coach of Team Spirit, decided not to keep his third-place medal from IEM Krakow 2026 and instead gave it to a fan after the tournament.

The fan himself shared the story, which was later reported by a Telegram channel.

“Hally, whom we all love and appreciate… And in one word — Legend. I come up to him just to thank him, and then something happened that I could never expect in my life. Sergey hands me a small box and says, ‘Take it’”

The supporter said the moment was a pleasant shock for him, since he didn’t even ask for it. The Team Spirit coach did not explain why he so easily gave away the medal, but his gesture greatly pleased the CS2 community.
