Team Spirit announced that they are freezing one of their rosters

As per Team Spirit, their women's CS2 roster is being put on hold due to several reasons.

The announcement was made by Nikita Chukalin, CEO of Team Spirit through the organization's social media channels.

“Today, we are freezing our CS2 Female project. We did not grow as much as we wished and our sporting results were less than expected which is the main cause of this resolution. Thanks for playing in our colors for all the ladies over the last two years - they have all won a lot of luck in their new women teams. If we decide to return to this project again, it will depend on how much more developed the women’s scene becomes with respect to tournaments organized and attention paid”

Club management has stated that if the women’s scene grows considerably, then there is hope for revival of the project. However, at present, according to Team Spirit team performances do not justify expenditure on them. Worth noting also that the division for female gamers was founded early 2023 but its lifespan showed earnings below $10k of prize-money and its highest placement in HLTV ratings came in as number one hundred eighty-fourth.
