Team Spirit admitted that they were on the verge of disbanding twice

Ilya "Illidan" Pivtsaev, a streamer for Team Spirit, admitted that the team twice experienced deep crises that could have led to a disband, but they successfully overcame these challenges thanks to their unity.

The streamer shared this in an interview with Esports.ru.

"I believed in Team Spirit before their first victories and will continue to do so during downturns. No other team in the CIS has come out of such a 'pit' as they have, and they did it twice. Others made roster changes and disbanded their lineups, but no one overcame the problems together. This is a unique and healthiest example of a team that can be given to the entire community"

According to him, the world champions went through crises that would have led to reshuffles or disbands in any other team, but Team Spirit faced these hardships together. Illidan emphasized that the world champions showed the entire Dota 2 community an example of perfect cohesion even during the critical moments of their careers.
