Team Falcons were forced to replace Maxim “Kyousuke” Lukin due to visa issues, so the roster preferred that he would not travel with them to BLAST Bounty Winter, but instead play for the team at IEM Krakow 2026.

This was revealed by Damjan “Kyxsan” Stoilkovski during an interview with HLTV.

“As far as I know nothing is decided yet. I’m not sure how much I can say, but this year there are a lot of tournaments in the Schengen zone so it’s impossible to play with Kyousuke at all of them. If we had to choose we would rather have him come to Krakow or some other tournament, instead of this one. BLAST Bounty Winter is a good tournament but Krakow is definitely more prestigious. We are still waiting for confirmation but if everything goes according to plan he will be ready for IEM Krakow”

The captain explained that Kyousuke has problems with visa paperwork, and since there are many tournaments in the Schengen zone he simply cannot manage to get documents for all of them. Because of that, he said, the club has to choose priority tournaments where the player is more likely to make it in time.

Kyxsan also emphasized that BLAST Bounty Winter is a good tournament, but Team Falcons consider IEM Krakow to be a more important event.

Recall that earlier Danil “Donk” Kryshkovets revealed a lifehack he uses to win matches in CS2.
