Avery “SVG” Silverman criticized
BetBoom Team, saying that the team is hurting itself and that repeated draft picks are the main weakness of the roster.
He said this on the new edition of the Not For Broadcast show on the
Tundra Esports YouTube channel.
"I don't think it has anything to do with meta - it's all about mentality. BetBoom Team is the epitome of the meme where the guy puts a stick in his wheels and asks: “Who did this?” The team gets in their own way. It gets to the point where they pique the same character five times in a row. They need to believe they can be flexible, can take unique characters. It might not work right away, but they need to move forward"
SVG noted that
BetBoom Team doesn't believe in its own strength and therefore relies only on proven draft picks. He called this strategy limited and said it needs to be changed as soon as possible. According to him, the situation reaches absurdity when the same hero is selected five times in a row.
The former cybersports player added that
BetBoom Team are capable of playing well on different heroes, but often they just don't. He also suggested that there may be other hidden problems within the lineup that affect the result of the team.
Recall, earlier Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov said that before moving to
Tundra Esports Bozhidar ‘bzm’ Bogdanov was a “complete zero” in Dota 2.
