After each Dota 2 or CS2 tournament, streamers can earn upwards between $20,000 and $100,000. This figure is higher than the prize money and earnings that many professional players accumulate while taking part in these events.

Dmitry 'Instamityay' Serebrennikov from Ultimate agency, which oversees caster community streams for large scale tournaments, shared this information in an interview with Vedomosti.

“A successful community caster standing out for him can clock in upwards of $20,000 to $100,000 for a single streamer integrated into the caster community. This number is much smaller than what can come from a contract with a betting company and brace ambassador fees which are paid monthly”

He adds that many community casters also go on to earn far greater amounts simply by signing contracts with betting companies. At BLAST Slam II, which has a staggering prize pool $1 million, the tournament winners’ earnings per medal is roughly $20,000 - $60,000.

Earlier, reports shed light on the fact that CS2 players rake in millions of dollars earning salaries, with or without the need to win tournaments.
