Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko, who previously played for
BetBoom Team, might have simply wanted to switch to the carry position, which could have been a key factor in his move to
Tundra Esports.
Commentator and Dota 2 analyst Alexey "STORM" Tumanov shared this insight during a Twitch broadcast.
"Pure~ transitioning to the carry position in Tundra Esports can be explained by a player's ordinary desire to play carry, not necessarily pursuing a specific goal like, 'I'll switch to carry to be invited to this team since there's an open spot there.' No, I think he definitely showcased himself better in the offlane than as a carry"
Nevertheless, Pure performed better as an offlaner; however, STORM believes he might attempt to combine roles, as he did during his time with
Entity. According to STORM, the esports player could replicate success with
Tundra Esports, as the team's lineup is genuinely interesting and has the potential to surprise with its playstyle.
It's worth mentioning that
Tundra Esports made a significant impact in the open qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 22, securing an invitation to the closed qualifiers for the Dota 2 tournament.
