Khaled “sQreen” El-Khabbash believes that Valve made a mistake when they made Compendium 2025 free. The content creator believes that players would not mind donating to The International prize pool if the developers took care of the quality of the game event content.
The streamer stated this in a comment to Metaratings.
"I think making the Compendium free was a mistake. People were willing to buy and donate to it. All they needed to do was make high-quality sets and chests, immortals that would be exclusive to The International."
Khaled “sQreen” El-Khabbash believes that this year's The International prize pool will be low due to the Compendium format. The content creator doubts that it will exceed $3 million. In addition to the streamer's dislike of the format of the gaming event itself, he also noted the low quality of the rewards.
"I don't think a free Compendium is a good idea, and the quality of the items is mediocre. Everyone already has these arcane items. So the prize pool is unlikely to be large. Probably no more than $3 million."
Earlier, Ben “Noxville” Stijnhuizen named the main favorites for the upcoming The International 2025 tournament.
