Khaled “sQreen” El-Habbash said that David “Parker” Flores agreed to play for
Mosquito Clan as a substitute at the last moment, but overestimated his strength and fell asleep without finishing the match against
OG.
The
Mosquito Clan leader made a statement to this effect on Telegram.
"Before the memes with Parker have not crossed the border, I would like to comment on this:
Firstly, thanks to Parker for responding at such a late time (it was already deep night in Peru) and playing as a substitute for us.
Secondly, at the time of the game with
OG it was already about 5 am in Peru, and Parker was not ready to play all night in Dota, and it turned out that at the most important moment he did not have enough strength to finish the game, after all, the human factor is unpredictable."
Khaled “sQreen” El-Habbash also apologized to the organizers of the FISSURE Special tournament and the fans who were waiting for the match for the current situation, promising that next time the squad will play from bootcamp, as well as have a good rest before the upcoming series.
“I would also like to apologize to the organizers of the Fissure Special for this accidental techluse and to the fans who were waiting for the game - I assure you that the next games the guys will play with a full squad from bootcamp and fully rested.”
As a reminder, David “Parker” Nicho Flores fell asleep during the match against
OG, causing
Mosquito Clan to receive a technical forfeit.
