Somnus might surprise Dota 2 fans after leaving Azure Ray, - Chalice

Lu "Somnus丶M" Yao, who played for Azure Ray, plans to surprise the Dota 2 community and raise his MMR rating to 13,000 after leaving the team.

Such a statement was made by his former teammate Yang "Chalice" Shen, quoted by the Twitter account CN Dota In A Nutshell.

"Somnus said he will try to get 13,000 MMR, but I think he can't even hit 12,000 MMR, to be honest"

However, Chalice doubts that Somnus will be able to achieve such a result. The point is that only a few of the world's best players have reached such a high MMR rating. Nongnara "23savage" Tiramahanon was the first to achieve this, and he spent a tremendous amount of game time on it.

Somnus managed to surpass the 10,000 MMR threshold back in 2021. Reminder that Somnus and Chalice left Azure Ray and took a break from the professional Dota 2 scene.
