Alexey "Solo" Berezin stated that the current year might be his last as a professional Dota 2 player.
The captain and support of the current
9 Pandas roster made this statement in an exclusive interview with Cybersports publishing.
"This year, when we were forming the team, I decided for myself that with 99% probability, this is my last try as a player. I still don't know if I will try myself as a coach or something else. What will make me stay? If we become a really strong team, win TI and Riyadh Masters – then it would be foolish to leave if I could try another season like this one."
The esports athlete also added that he believes in the victory of the current
9 Pandas lineup in future tournaments and thinks that he is currently in excellent shape. Nevertheless, Solo notes that at his age, it is quite difficult to maintain a high level of preparation.
The current roster of
9 Pandas participated in the closed qualification for DreamLeague Season 22 and in the open regional qualification for ESL One Birmingham 2024. However, the team failed to pass the qualifiers.

It's worth reminding that earlier, the coach of the
1win Dota 2 roster, Timur "Ahilles" Kulmukhametov, presented the victory on the second map against
Tundra Esports as assistance to
Team Spirit.
