Alexey "Solo" Berezin, the captain of 9Pandas, admitted that the worst moment of his career was the defeat in the final of The Kiev Major 2017 when he was playing for Virtus.pro.

Solo shared this during a Twitch stream.

“Solo, where can I even begin? The loss in the finals of the Kiev Major haunted me far more than any other match in my career, whether it was in terms of strategizing or pure gut-wrenching emotions. Losing to the Newbee roster was truly devastating for us. all of my moves went fully made a head towards the The Internationals, we just didn't make it far, but when you play in the final and lose, it's especially painful when you stop just one step away"

He also shared what he thought about how his team compared to the team which came out on top. From his words, the team’s attitude was very unsporting, so much so that one would view them as the bad guys of the story.

"Newbee and I believe every True Sight, they make the losing team out to be the villain. We were and are called the villains in the world of Dota esports. And it was pretty much like that, if you look at what we discussed versus what they did. During the finals, we adopted a rather hot-headed and stubborn demeanor when compared to our competitors who were calm and friendly"

Still, no matter how bad this sounds, they did reach the finals irrespective of their attitude. The story of that tournament goes to remind us that there are no guarantees in Dota 2.

Earlier, famous streamer Johan “n0tail” Sundstein was caught in a massive earthquake while live streaming.
