Smile identifies the main issues for Team Spirit following a crushing defeat from MOUZ

Sergey "Smile" Revin believes that members of Team Spirit are currently not in the best shape and are having problems adapting to the current meta.

The corresponding statement was made by the well-known analyst and commentator during a live broadcast of the 1win Series Dota 2 Spring championship, the recording of which is available on Twitch.

"So, Team Spirit's problems in the recent tournaments:

Mira's form has been very poor. The guys from L1ga Team were feeding – he was doing the same. He was giving 'first blood' frequently. We say that, again, Team Spirit always builds from their tough lane. Now he's not doing that because a huge number of offlaners are being banned, and they don't let Collapse get his signature hero – that's the second problem. He's forced to play on heroes like Primal Beast, and they don't flex this Primal Beast in mid much. He doesn't get Mars, Centaur Warrunner isn't given to him – and that's probably his favorite hero. Centaur Warrunner is top-1, Mars is top-2. Heroes that are in the meta won't fall into his hands. Like Timbersaw.

The offlane isn't working. Larl, again, doesn't always get cool matchups, which he often loses. And Yatoro isn't at his prime on carry. Although when he's at his prime, he's the best carry in the world."

In the 1win Series Dota 2 Spring, Team Spirit lost the first match against MOUZ. The fate of the team will be decided on the map against 1win. In the tournament, 8 teams compete for a prize pool of $100,000. All participants received direct invitations to the championship. The first stage is held in two groups, from which only the top two teams will advance to the next stage.
