Oliver ‘skiter’ Lepko said that while playing for
Tundra Esports as a stand-in, he observed the high professionalism of Stanislav ‘Malr1ne’ Potorak. Thus, Malr1ne was brought to
Team Falcons.
On Alexei “STORM” Tumanov YouTube channel, Kerry of
Team Falcons echoed these statements in an exclusive interview where he was requested by STORM to describe who formed the team rooster of
Team Falcons.
“
Team Falcons were interested in competitive Dota 2 and we fitted well with them. They were big ATF fans and it wasn’t a problem.”
How did we take Malr1ne, Cr1t- and ATF? We played with Nine at DreamLeague last year when
Nemiga Gaming borrowed him from us, so I knew this malr1ne guy is insane. From this moment onwards I understood that even if the guy didn’t succeed in
Nemiga Gaming because he was taking care of his kids but he is mad according to me. But not a thing that came into my mind was that this guy has Miracle- level potential. I also want to say that if you surround him with your people, then he will be a superstar. I mean I wanted to play only with him. We needed players with experience in the scene and newcomers. That’s why we took both ATF and Malr1ne.There are few people like them – they are young talents yet they have been friends since childhood.”
Andreas “Cr1t-” Frank Nielsen had joined the team before too. According to team’s carry player, the management noticed him due to his results at recent majors and tournaments where he performed greatly over there as cyber athlete. Oliver 'skiter' Lepko noted that his future teammate was seen as an underrated veteran of the pro scene by others.
Earlier Oliver 'skiter' Lepko singled out the best teammate for matchmaking.
