Seleri intrigued fans with a teaser announcement: player’s statement

In a post on X (Twitter), Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp, the one-time captain of Gaimin Gladiatorss, informed followers there’s going to be a major announcement which in all likelihood means he may have signed with a new team and is looking to make a comeback to professional Dota 2.

The esports player shared this on his page:

“Almost time for my announcement, looking forward to it. Everything turning out even better than I could have expected"

To Seleri’s point, the pro Dota 2 scene certainly could benefit from some new and fresh competitive energy. Not much is known about the announcement at this stage, but community speculation is rife that it is around the return of Seleri into competitive Dota 2 for a different franchise.

As a reminder, Seleri, after parting ways with Gaimin Gladiators, has publicly stated several times since that he is looking to return to the pro scene and has no plans to retire.
