Satanic Complained About the Quality of Matchmaking in Dota 2

Alan “Satanic” Galliamov stated that he doesn’t get much enjoyment out of playing in Dota 2 matchmaking, since what used to be a hobby has turned into a career as an esports player.

The player made this statement on Twitch.

“Of course, if you know how to play Dota, you’re more motivated to play. It’s kind of related to the fact that I’m a professional Dota player. Sure, I play Dota a lot, and because of that, I’m less inclined to play it. But I’d say the main factor is the quality of the public matches—that’s all. Otherwise, I think I’d enjoy playing if the public matches were decent. I just don’t seem to end up in decent public matches where I can really have fun.”

According to Alan “Satanic” Gallamov, it’s not just the constant need to play that dampens his desire to play in matchmaking, but also the quality of ranked games. The esports player noted that he would gladly play if Valve resolved the matchmaking issues, but right now he hardly ever comes across matches that are actually enjoyable.
