Alexander "Santa" Koltan believes that the quality of
Team Spirit's carry player, Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk, is currently at a terrible level, and the team often surrenders prematurely. However, the commentator believes that the lineup can still return to its former level.
In an exclusive comment to Metaratings, the analyst shared his opinion.
"
Team Spirit has problems, a lot of problems. Every team has its ups and downs. Look at
Gaimin Gladiators, if you compare the team's current game with half a year ago, they are completely different squads, but with the same players. Yatoro is playing poorly, really poorly. He makes macro mistakes time after time. When
Team Spirit needs to fight, he starts arguing. Drafts are uncertain.
Team Spirit throws games they didn't throw before and doesn't come back in games they didn't come back in."
Santa also added that he has been following
Team Spirit for quite some time, and he considers the team's problems quite natural, deeming criticism of the team unjustified. The analyst believes that Yatoro's lineup can regain its former form, as this is not their first crisis period.
In the second stage of DreamLeague Season 22, after three matches played,
Team Spirit managed to defeat
Aurora but lost to
Team Falconss and
Xtreme Gaming.
It's worth noting that earlier,
OG captain Sebastien "Ceb" Debs talked about Enzo "Timado" Gianoli's successes within the team.
