Jonas “SabeRLighT” Wołek stated that the
Virtus.pro Dota 2 roster has made progress recently, but the team has also faced some serious setbacks.
The player shared this opinion in an interview with Jaxon.
“I’d say that since I joined, we’ve started playing better. I think we had a very good first tournament—DreamLeague. But our success... It comes in waves; we go up and down. We didn’t perform as well in some qualifiers. We shouldn’t have been eliminated in the group stage at ESL One Birmingham 2026, and that’s what we all wanted, so we’re not happy with that result, but at the same time, it’s not the end of the world. We were close. But yes, I’d say there are definitely some areas we need to work on.”
According to Jonas “SaberLight” Wolek, the team played well at the last DreamLeague tournament, showing the peak of their preparation. However, a slump followed. The player acknowledged that the team is disappointed with the result at ESL One Birmingham 2026, as they had hoped to make the playoffs. The esports player noted that the team has issues that need to be addressed.
As a reminder, Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak replaced Abed “Abed” Yusup in the
Virtus.pro roster at the Dota 2 Premier Series tournament.
