SabeRLight revealed the real reason behind his victories on the Dota 2 pro scene

Jonas “SaberLight” Volek said that he has been dating a girl for a long time, and she is the one who motivates him to win on the pro scene.

“No, I had a girlfriend long before the wins. She's the reason I won all the tournaments, guys. It's been almost a year now that we've been dating. As you can see, it's been a pretty successful year. Ever since I got a girlfriend, things have only been going uphill. Coincidence? Who knows.”

That said, Jonas “SaberLight” Volek believes that it is better to enter into a relationship not at the peak of one's career, as in such a situation one can be more confident in the partner. The cyber athlete added that if he found a girl after winning PGL Wallachia, he would not be sure about the sincerity of her feelings.

“When you're at the bottom and you have a girlfriend, you know she's not with you because of popularity and money. If I had a girlfriend now, after winning PGL Wallachia twice, I would obviously be a little concerned that she's with me because of those wins.”
