Jonas “SaberLight” Woolek stated that the
Virtus.pro roster could win the Esports World Cup 2026 Dota 2 tournament.
The player made this statement in an interview with Cybersport.
“After the qualifiers, everyone was upset, myself included. It’s never easy for anyone to deal with a loss, but we’re learning to handle the pressure and draw conclusions faster.
We had a few days to recover a bit and regain our confidence. During that time, I also played in the Esports Nations Cup qualifiers and, fortunately, won them. That victory gave me a boost. And now we’re already in Paris, and it feels like a whole new tournament is beginning—a new chapter. So I’m confident that we’re capable of winning.”
Acording to Jonas “SaberLight” Wołek, after their loss in the TI15 qualifiers, the team felt disappointed and demoralized. However, a few days of rest helped the team recover, and the esports player’s sucess in the Esports Nations Cup qualifiers gave him an extra boost of confidence.
As a reminder, Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev previously named the hero who helped Jonas “SaberLight” Wolek boost his MMR in Dota 2.
