Rostislav Rostislav_999 Protasenya, also known as Rostik Dota 2, received a ban on his new account just 25 minutes into the broadcast, after which he left the Twitch stream with a disappointed expression.
This marks the third ban for the renowned high MMR streamer in the past week. The wave of bans began following active criticism from the Dota 2 community regarding Valve's policy towards high MMR players from Eastern Europe using smurf accounts.
"If you banned mason, maybe it's worth banning Russian-speaking content creators who play on smurfs? They always play on smurfs and are never banned," one Reddit user expressed their frustration.
Recall that earlier, Jean 'Gorgc' Stefanovski was banned in the Dota 2 voice chat after a drop in his conduct score.
