Vladimir “RodjER” Nikoghosyan stated that he didn't like The International 2024 tournament because of the lack of hype around the event.
The pro-player shared the corresponding opinion in a personal Twitch broadcast.
“I didn't like The Int. There's no that hype, you know? The era is gone. I don't feel that drive.”
The former cybersport player also stated that young players will play Dota 2 anyway, but the older generation should feel a big difference, comparing TI13 to last year's The International tournaments. Summarizing the results, Vladimir “RodjER” Nikoghosyan said that the drive that accompanied previous tournaments in the series is a thing of the past.
“Just, you know, all the youngsters will play Dota, they have nothing to compare it with, but all the old-timers - understandably. Sooner or later everyone will realize that it was a thousand times better before. That drive is going away, after all.”
Earlier Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko commented on the mass reshafts in the teams that took part in The International 2024.
