RodjER criticized the new patch for Dota 2 and named the best supports of the current update

Vladimir 'RodjER' Nikoghosyan stated that the new patch didn't really manage to impress the cybersports player. He emphasizes Shadow Shaman, Batrider, Spirit Breaker and a number of other characters as the best heroes to play on the support.

The cyber athlete shared his relevant opinion with the viewers of his personal Twitch broadcast.

“Well, Shadow Shaman, obviously. Shadow Shaman is strong, Batrider is strong like that, he's also buffed. Nyx Assassin is very strong. Spirit Breaker is cool, you can do all sorts of chips for him. Well, the same Marci, Earthshaker is also cool.

Clockwerk. A lot of sapps. I haven't gotten around to reading them all yet. Dark Willow is very strong. Very strong Dark Willow. Not to say I'm inspired by the patch. Right now I'd just like to play it, see how it goes.”

Patch 7.36 was released on the night of May 23 and added several new additions to Dota 2 game mechanics like hero aspects and innate abilities. The balance of the game meta was also changed. The update was released right during the DreamLeague Season 23 tournament, because of which teams had to adapt to the changes on the fly.
