Riyadh Masters 2024 promises to be a major event in the Dota 2 esports scene, being part of the larger Esports World Cup. Set in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the tournament will run from July 3 to July 21, 2024. This extensive event will feature a formidable prize pool of $5 million, making it one of the most lucrative esports tournaments globally.

The tournament will consist of several stages, starting with play-in stages on July 4-7, followed by group stages from July 10-14, and culminating in high-stakes playoffs from July 16-21. The winner of the Riyadh Masters alone will take home $1.5 million, underscoring the high stakes and competitive nature of this event.

A total of 20 teams will compete, with eight qualifying directly through the ESL Pro Tour points and twelve through regional qualifiers. This setup ensures a diverse and competitive lineup, featuring top teams from various global regions.

Riyadh Masters 2024 Format

Participants
- Eight teams from EPT Leaderboard and are seeded into group stage
- Twelve teams from regional qualifiers and are seeded into play-in
  - Three teams from China
  - Two teams each from Western Europe, Southeast Asia, and South America
  - One team each from Eastern Europe, MENA, and North America

Play-In - July 4 - July 7, 2024
- Two groups of six teams each
- Single round-robin
- All matches are Bo2
- Top three teams from each group advance to the group stage
- 4th to 5th place team from each group will be matched
  - Matches are played from opposite groups
    - Winners will advance to group stage
    - Losers are eliminated

Group Stage - July 10 - July 14, 2024
- Two groups of eight teams each
- Single round-robin
- All matches are Bo2
- Top four teams from each group advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs
- 5th and 6th place team from each group advance to the lower bracket of the playoffs
- Remaining teams are eliminated

Playoffs - July 16 - July 21, 2024
- Double-elimination bracket
- All matches except Grand Final are Bo3
- Grand Final is Bo5
