RAMZES666 stunned with a statement about his motivation to win

Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnaryov said that he enjoys the atmosphere in the finals of LAN tournaments, as well as he is interested in communication with other players, but the main motivation to win the cyber athlete considers money.

The eSports player made the relevant statement in an interview with The International 2024 on the lineup's YouTube channel.

“Where do I get my motivation from? Money. I also like the atmosphere at LAN finals. It's nice to talk to people who play Dota, I like them all. But my main motivation is to take the top 1 and make money, that's all.”

TI13's prize pool totaled just over $2.4 million dollars. Whereas at The International 2022, the total payouts to tournament participants exceeded $40 million dollars, when even the weakest squads received $100,000 each, and Team Spirit, the tournament winners, received over $18 million.

It's worth noting that a number of pro players have criticized Valve for significantly cutting prize money, but for many of the participants of The International 2024 the championship is important because of the desire to win the status of the winner of the main event of the year in Dota 2.
