Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev believes that the organizers are trying to maximize profits while the game is still popular by scheduling a packed Dota 2 tournament schedule.
The player shared this opinion on Twitch.
“There's no need to hold so many tournaments, it's crazy. Qualifiers, tournaments, open qualifiers — it's just too much. It's insane, they're just squeezing everything out of Dota, I don't understand.”
According to Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev, the number of tournaments planned for fall 2025 is simply excessive, making it difficult to create a clear schedule of events due to their high density and periodic changes in the schedule. The esports player considers such a number of championships in esports to be inappropriate.
"Our next tournament is BLAST, and at the time of BLAST, we will also have PGL Wallachia. And after PGL Wallachia, we will have the continuation of BLAST, as I understand it. And we will also have FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2. Or am I confusing something...
So, in October we will have FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2. Or will it not be in October? I don't understand these tournaments. They've created their own tournaments, their own incomprehensible qualifiers. It's just crazy, you can't even check the schedule. It's just awful. There are so many of these tournaments."
Let us remind you that earlier Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev reflected on the prospects of Alexander “Nix” Levin's coaching career.
