RAMZES666 Responds to Criticism of His Dota 2 Play

Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev believes that the skill level of his teammates in matchmaking prevents him from fully realizing his potential.

The player made this statement during a personal Twitch stream in response to a viewer’s criticism of his gameplay.

“You’re a noob if you think I play poorly in the offlane. I’m stuck with people I can’t even play Dota with. That’s just how it is. They won’t let me play Dota—is that because I play badly? It’s mostly out of my control. There are things that are simply beyond my control, things I can’t influence. Because I depend too much on my team.

If I were given control over five people and could manage them all—if I had enough hands—I’d do it all myself. I wouldn’t need a team. I’d tell each of them what to do myself and handle everything myself. They just don’t understand my thoughts; they can’t read my mind. I realize that I’m on a completely different level when it comes to Dota—that’s all. You just have to accept things like that.”

According to Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev, in matchmaking he is heavily dependent on the actions of the other players, who most often don’t stick to a unified strategy. The esports player believes that, ideally, he wouldn’t want to coordinate his strategies with the team but would prefer to personally control the game in all positions, considering his skill level to be far above that of the average player in ranked matches.

As a reminder, Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev previously predicted the finalists of the BLAST SLAM VIII Dota 2 tournament.
