Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev called for the merger of the North American and South American regions in professional Dota 2 due to the lack of high-level competition between teams.
The player shared this opinion on Twitch.
“Why not combine the NA and SA qualifiers now, right? Why watch the NA qualifiers for one team that always qualifies? Why not combine some regions? Who cares about ping! Who cares about ping?”
According to Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev, there are virtually no strong teams in the North American region that can provide a high level of competition. The esports player believes that only Western Europe and the CIS countries have a sufficient level of competition to separate them into separate regions during the qualifiers.
“No one plays in NA anyway. Why not just combine the two regions? I don't know, to be honest. Well, CIS and EU can be separated. I think the only regions that shouldn't be in the same group are CIS and EU. That's it. The rest of the regions, well, it seems like they can just be lumped together.”
Earlier, Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev commented on the level of preparation of Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko, noting that the player needs to make some changes.
