Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev revealed that the switch from carry to offlaner was not his decision, but he did not explain why he made the change.

The esports player shared this in an interview with Esports.GG.

"In general, there are a lot of good carries in Dota, but not many good offlaners. You can probably name three to four exceptional offlaners, but the others would be either carry or mid players. There just aren't a lot of players in the pos 3 role. It's not my choice, but I can deal with it. It's fine"

According to the pro player, while performing as an offlaner was not his desire, he can handle the task and thinks that everything is fine for now. It's possible that the position switch was a condition of his transfer to Tundra Esports, where the offlaner role was vacant. This might explain why the player has been training so much for this role and has almost stopped playing as a carry in matchmaking.
