Quinn revealed the real reason behind Seleri's departure from Gaimin Gladiators

Quinn “Quinn” Callahan Gaimin Gladiators midlaner divulged that Selcr “Seleri” Hillenkamp parted ways with the team because of the mental strain from a challenging season for the roster.

The well-known esports personality gave these details in an interview during the PGL Wallachia 3 tournament.

“We are, as of now, trying to locate our game. Seleri became such an important piece to the puzzle and as a result, the way we play the game has shifted drastically. He had a certain set of heroes that he played and there were so many strategies that were created and teams built around that. This has been a long season and we have used a lot of resources in it. It is quite a lot to deal with mentally. It’s fair to say that Seleri needed a break,” said Quinn.

Quinn emphasized that the team had to adjust their playstyle after Seleri's departure, as many strategies revolved around his hero choices. However, the midlaner expressed understanding of the captain's decision, acknowledging the immense psychological pressure caused by the team's underwhelming results.

According to Quinn, Seleri's break is only temporary, and he is expected to return to Gaimin Gladiators, though it remains unclear when that will happen.
