Quinn “Quinn” Callahan stated that after The International 2024, the
Gaimin Gladiators roster relaxed and also underestimated the impact of replacing Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov on the team's play.
The player made the corresponding statement in an interview with BLAST.
“We worked hard for a long time. We took 2nd place at The International 2024. People took long breaks and then we got lazy. We underestimated the impact of replacing one player. Plus we didn't work hard enough.”
According to the player's statement, all the above mentioned circumstances made the
Gaimin Gladiators squad very weak, but the player does not see Alimzhan “Watson” Islambekov at fault, as the other players did not put in enough effort, which hindered the team's development.
“All this made us very weak. It wasn't Watson's fault that we were losing or playing badly. Everyone else played poorly and didn't put in enough effort. We lost time and faltered because of that.”
However, Quinn “Quinn” Callahan also noted serious progress in the
Gaimin Gladiators' play, saying that the team was able to solve most of the problems.
