Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko, captain of
Tundra Esports, admitted that he left
BetBoom Team because he did not want to play with Egor "Nightfall" Grigorenko, and the team did not meet his ultimatum.
He revealed this in an interview on the BetBoom Esports YouTube channel.
"To be honest, I said that I didn’t want to play with Nightfall. I said that I wanted to play carry. Or on the offlane, but we needed a proper replacement. It turned out that the guys chose Egor. I hold no grudge against them"
He admitted that he gave the team an ultimatum: either him or Nightfall.
BetBoom Team chose not to replace their carry, which led Pure to leave, acknowledging that he couldn’t continue playing with him. However, he stated he holds no hard feelings toward his former teammates.
"I’m on good terms with everyone from BetBoom Team. But I would never play with Egor again"
However, Pure hinted that he had personal dislike for Nightfall outside the game as well, although he didn’t clarify what happened between them.
It’s worth noting that earlier, Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen could make Dota 2 history following
Team Spirit exit from TI13.
