The star player of BetBoom Team, Ivan Pure Moskalenko, did not hide his frustration with his squad after losing FISSURE Playground and so the result was, in his eyes, self-explanatory - they simply did not look like a team.

The esports athlete published his feelings in a post match interview broadcasted on YouTube.

“It is hard for me to explain what was happening in this game,” he said. “It is a snapshot of how our entire tournament went. We didn’t form a team; we did not have adequate preparation for the tournament. The first map was decent...the second one was already in our books. As a matter of fact, we already won the game. At certain moments, the other side played better than us. We just were not a cohesive unit”

He was inferring about how the loss of the first map was a reflection of the struggles the team had across the tournament. This seems plausible given the fact that BetBoom Team was actually winning and were about to destroy the enemy throne, and then somehow managed to lose the game.

The coach also stated that there was a lack of unity because the players did not operate as one. However, he said that as much as they did not prove it this time, they would prepare for the subsequent tournament to demonstrate that they are a properly organized team.

Earlier on, Pure managed to get himself into hot water after speaking his mind about Andrey “Dukalis” Kuropatkin at the tournament.
