Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko, who played for
BetBoom Team, accidentally confessed that he used to play on smurf accounts but now only uses his main account without violating Dota 2 rules.
He let slip this information during a Twitch stream while commenting on reports that he frequently played on a smurf.
"My smurfs? I don't have any smurfs; I only play on my main lately. I don't know where you got information about my smurfs. I play only on my main. Why do you think I'm joking? I genuinely only play on my main"
Interestingly, he inadvertently gave himself away with the addition of "only play on my main lately". This might indicate that he likely used a smurf account in the past. Nevertheless, the esports player continued to deny having any smurfs, despite Dota2ProTracker data suggesting otherwise.
However, in one of the matches, Pure's main account lost to his smurf, where the opposing team completely destroyed the base of the top player from
BetBoom Team.

It's worth noting that earlier insiders shared information that Pure might have been bought out from
BetBoom Team for $500,000. The esports player allegedly could become the new carry for
Tundra Esports.
