Klement "Puppey" Ivanov, captain of
Team Secret, stated that Alan "Satanic" Gallyamov, the carry for
Yellow Submarine, is not worth one million dollars and will not be able to join a more promising team in the near future.
The Dota 2 legend shared this in an interview published on Twitch.
- Let's say Satanic. I feel that it's hard for him to find a better team.
- Is he worth one million dollars?
- Not right now.
The esports veteran clarified that the player is likely tied to a contract with high buyout costs, preventing him from finding a more promising team to advance his career.
- But the organization demands that amount, and the player cannot develop.
- Yes. He doesn't have that opportunity. Imagine a situation where a team like BetBoom Team disbands. A good roster might think, "Why are we playing? Let's disband." Some players might want to form a stack, and Satanic would not be part of it. No one would pay that amount for him.
Puppey explained that although Satanic might receive offers from tier-1 teams, even they are not willing to pay such a high transfer fee for the player.
Previously, Puppey named the best players in the history of Dota 2, noting that Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk has not yet reached that level.
